This unit has been professionally installed using only a premium quality Dash Fascia and installation kit, this kit retains the operation of the factory parking sensor display to function as per normal as well as providing connection to the steering wheel controls to operate all of the units audio functionality. The only steering wheel controls which aren’t compatible with the new system is the phone buttons, the reason for this is that these buttons act as double function buttons to access the menu on the factory multi function display this menu system is therefore retained. On the flip side the new Alpine GPS Navigation has one of the best touch screen phone systems available todate.
This vehicle was also fitted with a GME 80 channel UHF CB radio complete with Additional Scanner Channels for Local Emergency Services, combined with the use of a vehicle specific bonnet bracket & a high gain GME aerial on to the passenger guard of this Ford Ranger is ready for an adventure. We have also installed the very popular Redarc EBRH electric brake controller allowing the owner to control some of the heaviest of trailer, the Redarc system also allowed for a very discreet install as many newer vehicle dash boards become harder to integrate with.
