Hi Tv pure2 Digital TV on the move

HiTV PURE II is the worthy successor to the first digital TV receiver designed specifically for Australian conditions – the HiTV PURE, first released in December 2004. HiTV PURE II now brings even better viewing experience for passengers in a package that’s just two-thirds the physical size of its predecessor. HiTV PURE II captures free-to-air digital television (DVB-T), allowing car passengers to be entertained and informed by a wide range of high-quality programming.

Digital television is hailed as the next advancement since TV went colour. Imagine being able to receive signal with cinema quality pictures and sound whilst enjoying extended programming information such as traffic updates, weather reports, news breaks, TV guides and more future interactive services.
Now, imagine putting all this in your vehicle!

Benefit and Feature

Versatile and Advanced Programming

With digital TV, there are currently 19 free-to-air channels compared to just five on analog TV. While on the road, you will be able to watch sports, 24hr TAB, finance news, general news, and childrens programming, and 24 hour weather forecasts. In the future, major TV stations in line with government broadcasting initiatives are working on deploying interactive TV.

State-of-the-art Twin Tuner Technology Digital TV Receivers

Using technology from Germany and France such as twin-tuner chipsets, integrated controllers, and the latest 32 bit-VL RISC CPU designs, HiTV PURE II is simply outstanding when compared to its rivals. Together with a diversity of high-performance antennas from HiTV, it brings excellent reception regardless of you being stationary or traveling at speeds of 130km/h.

Sharper Images and Clearer Sound

The image quality will not deteriorate as a result of the anti-Doppler effect while traveling at speeds up to 130 km/h. This is the result of our unique twin tuner technology developed in France. What HiTV PURE II has now achieved was previously not possible with Analog TV which suffers from where Analog TV starts to get interference when traveling at around 30km/h.

Slim, Compact and More Advanced Design

HiTV Pure II has enhancements to its physical size with a slimmer and more compact design making it easier to install and conceal no matter the size of vehicle. The HiTV Pure II is even small enough to fit into the glove compartment. With the latest cutting edge twin tuner technology, the reception of HiTV Pure II has been proven to provide 15% better signal quality than its predecessor. You now have more room to enjoy excellent in-car entertainment.

Compatible with all existing HiTV DVB-T antennas

HiTV Pure II is compatible with all existing HiTV DVB-T antennas such as the recently released R4, R6, B1, and R7, roof-mounted, bumper bar, and magnetic based antennas. HiTV is the only manufacturer that provides a wide-range in choice of antennas to compliment its digital TV receivers.

Technical Features

More A/V inputs and outputs

HiTV PURE II also serves as an entertainment hub. The device is fitted with 2 AV inputs allowing users to connect their DVD player, cam-coder or video gaming consoles like the PlayStation. HiTV PURE II also comes with 4 AV outputs permitting users to connect up to 4 screens/monitors simultaneously within the car.

Advanced comprehensive software and safety supports

HiTV Digital TV Receiver software includes Teletext Support, Logical Channel Support for Australian Digital TV Environment, Parental Lock function & 16 different language user interfaces. For safety reason, HiTV Pure II is equipped with hand-break safety support.

Twin TV-Tuner Anti-Doppler Effect

HiTV mobile digital receiver is equipped with 2 antennas (internal and/or external) and twin tuners. As long as you keep two antennas more than 70cm apart, the twin tuner system will be able to capture the entire available digital TV signal within the area.

Extreme Testing in Extreme Conditions

The HiTV PURE II works at extreme temperature ranges from -20 degree Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius
Shock proof : all the parts on board used are surface mount technology (SMT), which are extremely shock resistant. For safety the module has a front video output with handbrake control with the display visible only when the handbrake is engaged.

Proven Worldwide

HiTV PURE II has been tested and sold throughout the world including countries like Germany, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Luxemburg, Finland, Vietnam, Singapore, Australia, HK, Russia, Brazil, Sweden and Austria.
HiTV has also been adopted by car makers like Ford, VW, Volvo, BMW, Nissan and Fiat in different countries and diverse vehicle categories from trucks to cars
